PBO Social Outreach Photo Exhibit

A special colection of photographs showcasing the social work and communities impacted by Patronato Benéfico Oriental (PBO), a social impact organization founded on 1976 by a small group of inspiring ladies who had the vision to establish a center offering children education, health care and a space for their integral development.

Hogar del Niño opened its doors in 1984 as a nursery and school for 160 low income children from La Romana, on the eastern region of the Dominican Republic, It has since grown into a comprehensive center providing academic, art, music and technology education, social values, nutritious meals, psychological support, medical and dental care for more than 1,700 children and youth.

PBO is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide and improve the basic needs of vulnerable communities in the Dominican Republic, with a special focus on education and health. Our Outreach Program impacted more than 600,000 families on 2021.

Established as 501(c)3 organization, PBO's programs are financially supported through donations from individuals and businesses as well as income from our sustainable projects.
